简介:
许文翰,终身特聘教授,台湾第一学府台湾大学(2019年QS世界大学排名第72,亚洲区第22)工程科学与海洋工程学系,理论科学研究中心副主任,高效能与科学机算技术研究中心副主任。担任台湾大学工程学刊主编、American Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer、The Open Biomedical Engineering Journal、Mathematical Problems in Engineering、Journal of Computational Surgery等计算流体力学领域国际期刊编委。荣获1997、1999、2001年台湾科技部杰出研究奖(台湾学界重要奖项,每年各学术领域仅1个名额)、2003年特约研究奖、2008年杰出学者研究计划奖、2011年台法科技奖、2012年杰出特约研究院奖、2014年财团法人宗倬章先生奖。研究领域包括:偏微分方程的高效能计算方法,计算流体力学/热传/质传,计算生医在肿瘤治疗的规划,肿瘤性质的深度学习。在计算流体力学领域发表SCI期刊论文200余篇,研究成果广泛应用于潜艇流场解析与涡流结构研究、电磁方程科学计算方法开发、肝动脉栓塞化疗器械设计等各种不同领域。

In this talk, I will briefly describe what has been done in SCCS (Scientific Computing and Cardiovascular Simulation) laboratory. In addition, an enabling technique applied to area of next generation computational science and engineering, which is referred to the marriage of HPC (High Performance Computing) and ML (Machine Learning), will be discussed from my personal viewpoint in this talk.

In this talk, I will present in-housed developed numerical model for predicting interface separating the gas and liquid domains. For the sake of accuracy, combined compact finite difference scheme will be implemented together with the technique that minimizes the numerical modified wavenumber error. Both verification and validation problems will be solved in two- and three-dimensions to justify the currently developed two-phase flow solvers.
